ABOUT DEPARTMENT

Department of Economics began its journey in 1983. This department offers Economics as a subject at an undergraduate level i.e 3 years B.A. General course. Through various activities like group discussions, class tests and assignments, the department thrives to raise academic, intellectual and scholastic standards of students. The Department of Economics enables the students to rationalize through analytical frameworks, evaluate empirical evidence and develop a critical insight rooted in methodological approaches through interpretation of data pertaining to economic activities. By studying economics, students get deep knowledge of various topics like tax and inflation, Money and banking, Indian Economy, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics etc.
