ABOUT DEPARTMENT

Department of Political Science offers an undergraduate three years B.A (General) course. It was established in 1983. The core emphasis of the department is on familiarising students with the conceptual and applied essence of the discipline. The knowledge and skills imparted to the students under this courses empower them in a wide array of fields such as public policy making, policy analysis, Mass media, bureaucracy, legal fields, international relations, diplomacy, political consultancy, public affairs, academics and research. True to its academic spirit, department is carried out regular assessment by means of class tests, tutorials, group discussions, PPTs, assignments and Projects.
