ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Department of Punjabi offers an undergraduate three years B.A (General) course. It was established in 1983. The core emphasis of the department is on familiarising students with the conceptual and applied essence of the discipline. The knowledge and skills imparted to the students under these courses empower them in a wide array of fields such as UPSC, Mass media, Type-writer, translator, Actor and Anchor. True to its academic spirit, department is carried out regular assessment by means of class tests, tutorials, group discussions, PPTs, assignments and Projects.
